Posting to the blog & Eat, Pray, Love...

Apparently, I can add up to 100 authors on this blog so if you all want to invite more people just email me and I'll add their email to our authors list so that they can post as well as comment. The more the merrier I think!

And I finished Coal Tattoo (good but not as good as Parchment of Leaves by Silas House -- still my favorite --but now available to be borrowed if anybody wants it) and now I'm finally reading Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert which I've had for months on the shelf but hadn't started.

Commencement...

In honor of Debbie B. and Toni R. who stood in my driveway last year as we bemoaned never getting together for book club anymore, I've finally gotten around to creating the blog for what we're currently reading and recommend for everybody's next read. Yeah! It only took me what 9 months?!? I'd still rather go to lunch and talk about books but as a second choice, we can at least share what we're reading and like so we all know what to read next!

At the moment, I'm reading two books at once, Loving Frank, an historical novel about the affair between Mamah Cheney and Frank Lloyd Wright -- and -- Coal Tattoo by Silas House. Love them both. I'm actually listening to Loving Frank as an audio book. It's surprisingly compelling and a great commentary on love, marriage, and life at the turn of the century.
