I just finished Little Bee by Chris Cleave a couple of days ago (thanks Isabelle for sending it). I'd had it beside my bed for months and threw it into my overnight bag for a trip to the lakehouse last weekend. The back cover instructs me not to tell you what it's about, so I won't. I can say it was fabulous. You should read it next. You can even borrow it from me.

Thanks for the review, I've been meaning to read it and your recommendation seals the deal. The author also has a new book coming out called "Incendiary" so if you liked his style I can send you a copy!
Yes, please! I would love a copy. I think Little Bee would bee a good book club book. Too bad, all we have it this blog...
Could we somehow turn this into a book club? All read the same book one month or something?
I don't think that ever works, but we kind of have one anyway with the way we talk about them. Can I borrow this book at Xmas? I'm intrigued...
Just want to comment here because the post has already been made... even though that's kinda gone through the roof with our Stieg Larsson kick (and I still haven't read the second two!!!).
I loved Little Bee. It also made me cry! should I actually make a post on it? And did you guys like "Incendiary"?
Also, in looking through all these... there was a big lull in November. What was happening then? I remember I was too busy to make Thanksgiving here...
I still haven't read it... bad Isabug. I keep meaning to, I do!
I read Incendiary and I thought it was good. I would read it again. It's also sad though.. :(
The movie adaptation is awful.
Ok, you or Auntie G put that on hold for me please.
Btw, has anybody else read(/heard) "Outlander" besides the Auntie?
