What I Want 2 Read Next...

Yum. I think I could handle a book like this. Easy, comfortable, minimal and ohhh sooo good-looking!

Hmmmm... I don't know if that would be more unispiring for me... my style is not very undecorated (though I need to do that soon!)

Hmmm...that kind of cracks me up. Do you want to read this because you are thinking about going minimalist? If so, let me know how that goes for you. I think it's a genetic impossibility.

If we were sitting around somewhere with, perhaps, a monday margarita (though today is friday so... a beer?), I would toast you!

No, I can't go completely minimalist, but I like the idea of it AND I like the comfy look of this cover :)

Minimalism. Lovely in theory but then we had have to have the blog, What2GetRidofFirst.

A beer would be good.

Yes... in fact, it's making me want to finish my tea faster (it's later here, an appropriate time for a friday beer, so I can say that). I think I probably need to get rid of that box of electrical wires and screws under my desk.

"For what are they?" you ask? "An art project!" I reply, realizing I'm only continuing the echo started three years ago (though the box has moved from beside the couch to under the desk so that's..... something. I also have a lot of empty egg cartons, but they are for claireware ;)

Except that it's Lent. And, I have given up all beverages except for water and normal-brewed coffee. Actually, now that I think about, I've taken a minimalist approach to Lent altogether. I might have to post about that on one of the other blogs...Thanks for the inspiration Isabug!

PS: don't mean to purely criticize... I actually love minimalistic looks, for those who can do it (ie, not I.)

PPS: Speaking of what to read - for those of us going through hard times... ahem, US... I recommend not reading "Under the Banner of Heaven" just yet, but rather perhaps a repeat of "Broadway NIGHTS!"
Just trust me on that.

I had a dream last night that I was in this cool apartment that was crowded with Selby-girl kinds of stuff...lots of buttons and photos, old art projects and interesting odds & ends. I kept trying to take pictures of the room with my cell phone to send you all the photos because the clutter all looked so good and stylish. The only pictures I could get though were little individual shots of sections of rooms and not the whole big picture so it just looked like pictures of junk. I was very sad.

Then I dreamed that one of my clients murdered somebody and tried to frame me for the crime. Then, I was even sadder. (however, I hid all the evidence in the clutter of the grandparents' attic on Delong Road)

I bet you're glad you don't have my wacky dream life, aren't you.

Ahahhahaha... that sounds like the pictures I took for my senior project in the Morlan Gallery!!!!!!! It really IS my life! Thanks for thinking of us in your dreams though, and I'm glad the family was able to help in its own little way with covering up the hypothetical murder... I guess...
